Printing:
All ArtHouse prints are printed on 100%
cotton acid-free artist's paper on a Hewlet Packard Professional
Series wide-format inkjet printer.
We use papers from
Lyson, Hahnemuhle and Somerset, which are specialist textured
watercolour papers with an ink-receptive coating, giving excellent
detail, colour vibrancy and longevity. In addition, we apply several
layers of specially formulated Lyson print lacquer which forms a
matt protective coat against UV, ozone and moisture, all of which can
lead to damage and fading.
Mounting:
All
ArtHouse prints are professionally mounted and backed in sturdy
acid-free "antique white" card. This provides an extra layer of
protection as well as being the perfect way to display your
print, ready for framing. (please specify mount sizes 20"x16" or
14"x11" on our order from or you can choose
any custom size up to 20"x16!)
Framing:
We do not
currently offer a framing service, but our standard mounts come in
sizes for which ready-made frames are commonly available.
Alternatively your local framers will be able to offer full archival
framing services to your specification.
To best display
your artwork, we recommend a plain dark wood or black lacquer frame
with a moulding width of 1"-1½"
